Chinese bike-sharing major Mobike said last Tuesdaythat it will launch services in the United Kingdom inManchester and Salford at the end of this month asit ramps up efforts to compete with rivals such asofo in overseas markets.

"If successful, it could play an important part of our long-term plans for cycling in the regionand for making travel easier and more sustainable", Burnham said.
